CallScribe is built to keep your operating private. Listening, speech recognition, parsing, logging, audio recording, playback, storage, and export all happen on your device.
Your microphone audio, the transcripts CallScribe generates from it, the per-contact audio recordings, and your entire log never leave your device. CallScribe does not have an account system and does not upload your log anywhere.
If you turn on callsign lookup, CallScribe sends only the callsign being looked up to public amateur-radio lookup services (HamQTH and, as a fallback, Callsign.info) to retrieve publicly listed operator details such as name and location. No audio, transcripts, or other personal data are sent. This feature is optional, fails silently, and can be turned off in Settings to keep the app fully offline.
If you use the in-app feature-request or bug-report form, the text you write is sent to CallScribe's feedback service and stored as an issue for the developer to review. Session diagnostics are included only if you explicitly choose to attach them. Nothing is sent unless you submit the form.
CallScribe is a tool for licensed amateur radio operators and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
